در ضمن، این متن نامه من بود:
Hi,
I've been using my Apple ID for a number of years now. I've purchased probably over $400 worth of audiobooks and apps for iOS and OS X. But I don't want to associate a credit card with my account and prefer using gift cards.
I've redeemed numerous gift cards over the years, ranging from $5 to $100, and there has never been any problems whatsoever.
But today, when I redeemed a $15 U.S. gift card, everything changed. Now I can't purchase, or even download free apps or app updates from the store. It keeps asking me to "verify my payment information before purchasing", and when I visit "Edit Payment Information" page in iTunes, there's a red alert box around the "Payment Type" field (where, as I stated above, the "None" option is selected, because I don't want to use a credit card), asking me to verify my payment information or "contact iTunes support".
I think the problem is that iTunes wants to make sure I'm not a download bot or an illegal/fraudulent account by making sure that I've filed a valid credit card with my account. But I don't want to do that - I just want to keep using gift cards as I've been doing for the past 3 or 4 years.
It's odd that it should do that, as I have been using this account for several years and have purchased hundreds of dollars from the store and clearly haven't done anything suspicious to ring iTunes' "fraud detection" alarms!
I would be thankful if you could assist me in this matter as soon as possible.
Best,
Pooria
